A systematic program to improve your game.

Get a step-by-step program to improve a specific badminton skill.

Athletes use this to:

  • improve a specific aspect of their game (for example, programme to improve smash power, to improve reach in the court, improve backhand clear technique etc.)
  • create clear structure for their training (for example, integrate a relevant warm up and cool down sections to improve mobility and stability*) .
  • ensure that they are not missing an opportunity for development or avoid injuries (for example, injuries can be avoided by implementing injury prevention elements within the programme itself, instead of a separated programme).

How does it work?

A programme is generally based on a particular profile. For example, a smash technique profile will be needed before a development program can be provided. Once the profile is completed, we will build the program and email it to you.

* this might require additional assessments i.e. S&C assessment in this case.

FAQ

I am struggling to describe this into a question. What should I do?

- You can upload a video of your strokes or footwork.

- You can record a video of yourself explaining it, rather than writing it and upload it.

Important. This service doesn't compensate for a profiling. You might be asked to have a profile first as the profile helps significantly to clarify and understand the problem.

I got an advice but my coach doesn't agree with it. What should I do?

Many times coaches from all over the world will see and understand the game of badminton differently. We may be using different terms to describe the same things which could be confusing for an athlete.

The expertise opinion service, aims to give you clear understanding and help you develop. However, there is a risk that the current environment you are part of might not be ready to have this solution implemented for you. This doesn't always mean that this is not the right environment for you, but in many cases, this shows that the environment might not be ready.
